My Work

Hi everyone, Gabriel here from Brazil. I've been working as Public Administrator bach here in Brazil since 2009, but in 2019 I decided to learn programming skills. I must say this was the best choice I've ever made in my life. Why? Because when we dive into this computer science universe, the first thing we have to understand is that we'll never stop to learn. And believe me, when we study a topic that we love the path is smooth and enjoyable. Le Wagon Bootcamp was the first step, the second was to find a place within my public administration office to put my new knowledge into practice, and the next will be finishing this Computer Science Bachelor's degree at the UoPeople until 2026!

I'm currently working with open data and data portals. What a great experience could participate in some open-source communities, and see how this world works!

A Few Accomplishments

Starting a project doesn't have to be a challenge. Needs are a must of the time equal, even for different types of projects. I'm focused in simple concepts and striving to write maintainable projects (from the start) through mechanisms such as version control system, organized file structure, tests and continuous integration tools.

I'm not here only to learn and work with computer science. I'm here to network, share and discover new ideas from different backgrounds, practice my English (as a no native speaker), and the list goes infinitely. Well, the only thing I know is that I won't stop.
